Are you a skilled Site Services Engineer with electrical and mechanical qualifications? We are recruiting for an exciting opportunity to join a leading food manufacturing site as part of a dynamic engineering team. This role is perfect for someone with a strong background in maintenance, fault-finding, and compliance within a fast-paced production environment.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and feedback on daily issues to improve site performance.
  • Carry out static and dynamic maintenance on all site equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and all Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) regulations.
  • Respond effectively to emergency situations such as fire alarms or chemical spillages.
  • Support the engineering team in transitioning from a reactive to a proactive maintenance culture.


What We're Looking For:

  • Time-served apprenticeship or technical hands-on engineering experience within food manufacturing.
  • Recognised mechanical and electrical engineering qualifications (BTEC or equivalent).
  • Experience working with steam boilers, compressors, and associated pipework.
  • A self-motivated and results-driven approach to work.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement practices would be an advantage.
