Are you a skilled Site Services Engineer with electrical and mechanical qualifications? We are recruiting for an exciting opportunity to join a leading food manufacturing site as part of a dynamic engineering team. This role is perfect for someone with a strong background in maintenance, fault-finding, and compliance within a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and feedback on daily issues to improve site performance.
- Carry out static and dynamic maintenance on all site equipment.
- Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and all Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) regulations.
- Respond effectively to emergency situations such as fire alarms or chemical spillages.
- Support the engineering team in transitioning from a reactive to a proactive maintenance culture.
What We're Looking For:
- Time-served apprenticeship or technical hands-on engineering experience within food manufacturing.
- Recognised mechanical and electrical engineering qualifications (BTEC or equivalent).
- Experience working with steam boilers, compressors, and associated pipework.
- A self-motivated and results-driven approach to work.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement practices would be an advantage.
