Year 6 Teacher - SATs Preparation Focus - Coningsby Area

Location: Coningsby Area
Salary: M1 - M6 (in line with teachers' pay scale)
Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Start Date: After the Easter break
End Date: End of the academic year

Simply Education is working closely with a primary school in the Coningsby area that is looking for a qualified primary teacher to take on a Year 6 class from after the Easter break until the end of the academic year. This is a full-time role focused on supporting learners as they prepare for their SATs exams, ensuring they have the knowledge, skills, and confidence to succeed.

• Plan and deliver engaging and structured lessons in line with the Year 6 curriculum
• Focus on SATs preparation, ensuring all pupils receive targeted support
• Assess and track student progress, identifying areas for improvement
• Provide intervention sessions where necessary to boost attainment
• Maintain effective behaviour management strategies in the classroom
• Work collaboratively with school staff, leadership teams, and parents

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in KS2 teaching
• Strong knowledge of the Year 6 curriculum and SATs requirements
• Proven ability to create engaging and effective lesson plans
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• A passion for supporting pupil progress and achievement
