Role: Senior Safety Engineer

I am currently working with one of the fastest growing defence companies in the UK to help them find a Senior Safety Engineer to join their Mission Systems team.

The role:
- Conducting safety analysis on company-designed mission support systems, including mission planning systems and tablet-based obstacle warning, navigation and EFB products.
- Producing System Hazard Analysis Reports & System Safety Assessment Reports.
- Maintaining System Hazard Log & Supporting the on-going maintenance, control and configuration management of all documentation and records relating to Mission Systems' Safety Management System
Skills & Experience:
- A minimum of 4 years of Safety Engineering experience
- Experience in software & safety related standards including Def Stan 0056, DO178c, DO254
- Experience of working with common safety engineering tools and techniques
- Experience of system hazard log development and management.
All candidates must be able to obtain SC clearance
