We are seeking Senior Health Care AssistantsĀ who are able to lead, develop and co-ordinate a team of care workers to provide the highest standards of care to our residents. Overall ensuring the dignity of the residents is always maintained.

Job Role: To support the Home ManagerĀ 

To take on responsibilities of the Manager in theirĀ absence. To create a warm caringĀ environment which respects the rights and wishes of the care residents.

The successful person will be joining aĀ  fantastic friendly team who offer a quality service to all service users.

ā€¢ Monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, being aware of any change impacting on care and care plans, ensuring that new needs are met, and written records are amended to reflect any variation.
ā€¢ Being involved in the person-centred care planning process, by implementing, monitoring, and undertaking monthly evaluations.
ā€¢ Supporting residents with their medication requirements.
ā€¢ Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff with their development where required.
ā€¢ Acting as a key point for contact with residents, their relatives and visitors, as well as health and social care professionals involved in their wellbeing, ensuring that any reasonable requests are acted upon, and concerns or complaints are escalated.

As a Senior Care Assistant, it would be desirable to have:

  • NVQ 3 /MA L3 in Health and Social Care or working towards it.
  • Previous experience of as a senior in a Residential Care or Nursing Home.
  • A Passion for Care of the Elderly.
  • Experience of Medication Administration
