About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support pupils aged 4-11, helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the class teacher in delivering lessons and managing the classroom.
- Providing one-to-one and small group support to pupils needing extra help.
- Encouraging children's confidence, participation, and academic progress.
- Supporting children's social and emotional development in a nurturing environment.
- Helping to maintain a structured and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience working with children in a school or childcare setting (preferred but not essential).
- A positive, adaptable, and proactive approach to supporting learning.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
