Been working in Horticulture or recently qualified and looking to start a career in growing?

Want to find a business that will invest in you?

This business does this. Depending on your current qualifications, they will put you through your spray courses and other licences.

This impressive business will see you looking after up to 1,000 different varieties of crops, all with different needs. No two days will be the same!

What will I be doing?

Reporting to, and working closely with the Head Grower, you will support irrigation management, pest and disease management, and crop husbandry.

They will put you in different areas of the nursery when you join, so you get to understand the process from seed to distribution.

As well as this, you will be actively involved in crop walks and support on any projects ongoing.

What do I need?

There is training for the right person, but we're looking for someone with a qualification, or experience working, in horticulture and a basic understanding of how a commercial, large-scale nursery works.

You will be keen to work in Horticulture and have a real enthusiasm to learn and develop.

Who for?

Their main site is 16.5 acres which includes indoor and outdoor growing and a busy packhouse.

This role is at their newer site, which is 2ac of glass.

The business is focusing more than ever before on growing their own produce, and they want someone to come in to develop this. They want to listen to your ideas!
