Pertemps Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated and organized Production Planning Co-Ordinator for a leading manufacturing business in Hykeham, Lincoln. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with a knack for coordinating production schedules and ensuring efficient workflow. You will play a crucial part in maintaining productivity by managing resources, materials, and schedules to meet production targets.

What will I be doing every day?
  • Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure optimal workflow and on-time delivery.
  • Coordinate with production, supply chain, and warehouse teams to manage resource allocation.
  • Monitor inventory levels and order materials as needed to avoid production delays.
  • Track production progress and adjust schedules as necessary to maintain deadlines.
  • Communicate effectively with different departments to resolve issues affecting production.
  • Generate reports and provide insights to management on production performance and improvement areas.

What skills & experience do I need?
  • Previous experience in production planning, scheduling, or coordination within a manufacturing or production environment. Ideally with MRP systems.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

How much will I be paid?
26,000 to 28,000 p/a (DOE)

What are the working hours?
Monday to Friday starting at 0730. Monday to Thursday finishing at 16:00 and Friday 12:30.
