Electrical Testing Engineer
Location: Based in Lincoln, with travel to various locations (typically within an hour of Lincoln)
Pay Rate: 19.50 per hour (+ overtime after 42.5 hours)

About the Role
On behalf of our client, we are recruiting an experienced Electrical Testing Engineer to join their team. The role involves carrying out periodic testing and inspection of electrical systems in occupied buildings, including lighting, power, fire alarms, and emergency lighting, as well as preparing Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct periodic testing and inspection of electrical installations.
- Test and certify lighting, power systems, fire alarms, and emergency lighting.
- Prepare and complete detailed and accurate EICR reports.
- Ensure compliance with current electrical regulations and standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients and building occupants to ensure minimal disruption.
Requirements:
- City & Guilds 2391 (or equivalent qualification) is essential.
- JIB Card (minimum Electrician grading) is highly desirable.
- Experience with FormFill software is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of BS7671 and other relevant electrical regulations.
- High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
