We are pleased to be working with an industry leading client who are looking for aLettings Coordinatorto join their team on a 12 month fixed term contract
THE ROLE
As aLettings Coordinatoryou will be the first point of contact for all general property enquires and be supporting the Property Manager, Site Foreman and Head of Property to allow them to fulfil their roles, other responsibilities include:
- Ensuring referencing and right to rent checks are completed
- Issuing tenancy and licence agreements and registering deposits
- Ensuring a smooth handover of properties to new tenants and end of tenancies
- Assist with property inspections, ensuring any identified issues are rectified and recorded
- Ensuring Landlords statutory obligations and compliance are met across the property portfolio
- Raise invoices and chase rental arrears where applicable
- Record residential works orders and chase outstanding paperwork before works are completed
THE CANDIDATE
The idealLettings Coordinatorwill have previous experience in a similar role and a flexible approach to work. Key skills and experience for this role include:
- Experience using a CRM system is preferred but not essential
- Demonstrate a proactive attitude and commitment to health and safety
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Computer literate in all MS office programs particularly MS Excel
- Ability to deal with wide-ranging challenges and responsibilities with diplomacy and patience
- Ability to quickly build strong working relationships at all levels of the business
- Willing to take responsibility and ownership for tasks
