A new opportunity available with a leading provider of high-quality testing and analysis services for the food industry. They are committed to ensuring the safety and quality of products through rigorous testing methods and advanced analytical techniques.
Their state-of-the-art laboratory and dedicated team of professionals make them a trusted partner in the industry.

You'll be a skilled and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician with experience or knowledge of Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP) testing methods and techniques. You'll play a crucial role in their laboratory, ensuring the accurate and timely analysis of samples to support and maintaining the highest standards of product safety and quality.

Key duties:
Conduct ICP testing and analysis on samples from the food industry.
Prepare and process samples according to established protocols and procedures.
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including ICP spectrometers.
Interpret and report test results with accuracy and precision.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Maintain detailed and accurate laboratory records.
Collaborate with team members to optimize testing processes and improve efficiency.
Participate in routine laboratory maintenance and quality control activities.

**Qualifications:**
Previous experience or knowledge of ICP testing methods and techniques.
Degree in Chemistry, Food Science or a related field is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols and best practices.
Proficiency in using laboratory information management systems (LIMS) is a plus.
