Nursery Site Manager
Lincolnshire

Looking for something with a bit of variety?

Somewhere that you can actually make a change?

You'll be working closely with the Technical Director, and with some exciting new projects in progress, this could not only be your next job but the one after that too.

What's the job?
No two days are the same. This versatile business will see you doing a bit of everything.
This role will see you being responsible for the day-to-day running nursery, managing a team of pickers and growers.
They have thousands of varieties on site at any one time, some traded stock and some own grown, so you'll be utilising your plant knowledge every day.
You'll be continually increasing your horticulture technical knowledge and supporting in the development of the growers who report into you.

They operate across two sites. You'll be at their main site which is 16.5 acres. It's also where their packhouse is, so you'll be working closely with the operations team to ensure an efficient process from start to finish.

What will I have done?
You'll have a commercial nursery background. Ideally, you'll have worked in a growing/technical position and have your PA1 and PA6, so you can proactively work with the team daily.

You need to have a wealth of plant knowledge, but a strong interest to continue learning and developing this further.
As well as being plant-oriented, it also has a big people element. You'll be managing a team, and working closely with the director so communication is key.
