Support young people aged 16-21 in Lincolnshire on their journey to independence, with a focus on housing-related support and personal development.

THE ROLE
As a Support Worker, you'll play a key role in supporting young people to develop essential skills, make positive decisions, and ultimately achieve independence. You'll work closely with Senior Support Workers and external agencies to create and deliver personalized support plans.

  • Act as Keyworker for a group of young people, coordinating their support
  • Develop support plans and assist with housing management duties
  • Facilitate regular consultation, enabling young people to make informed resettlement choices
  • Guide young people on budgeting and welfare benefits claims
  • Apply safeguarding protocols to ensure the welfare of clients
  • Run activity programs and group sessions as required
  • Perform minor property maintenance, ensuring properties meet Nacro standards


THE CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar support role, working with young people or vulnerable groups, and must be capable of working independently within a community setting.

  • Experience delivering structured support to young people
  • Familiarity with safeguarding and child protection procedures
  • Experience with housing and property management tasks
  • Ability to respond to challenging behaviors constructively
  • Strong communication and record-keeping skills


THE CONTRACT

  • 35 hours per week, working on a rotating shift pattern as follows:
    • Week 1: Tuesday - Friday
    • Week 2: Monday - Thursday
    • Week 3: Thursday - Sunday
  • 3-month contract with potential for extension
  • 17.14 per hour LTD company rate / 14.61 per hour PAYE, inclusive of holiday
