We are seeking a results-driven Maintenance Manager to lead our engineering team, ensuring a strong focus on Health and Safety, fostering a positive team culture, and meeting production targets. If you have experience managing in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and possess a keen eye for optimising processes and budgets, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership and Health & Safety

  • Lead and motivate a team to promote Health and Safety standards and cultivate a positive team attitude.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the Engineering department.

Collaboration and Reporting

  • Report directly to the Engineering Manager, collaborating cross-functionally on-site.
  • Work closely with the Engineering Manager to schedule preventive maintenance and enhance manufacturing infrastructure efficiency.

Team Development

  • Develop and train engineering teams across shifts.
  • Implement lean and continuous improvement techniques to achieve cost savings and improve work processes.

Compliance and Standards

  • Ensure all standards and procedures are in place and regularly updated to govern safe working practices, including good GMP practices.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven track record of leading a diverse Engineering team within FMCG.
  • Proven record in managing an engineering budget to comply with set financial constraints.
  • Experience with CCMS systems.
  • IOSH certified, NEBOSH preferable.
  • Strong communication skills across all levels of staff.
  • Experience contributing to a multifunctional management team.
  • Experience in report writing, including RCA reports.
  • Qualified to a high level in Electrical or Mechanical engineering.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience working at a management level.
