We are seeking a results-driven Maintenance Manager to lead our engineering team, ensuring a strong focus on Health and Safety, fostering a positive team culture, and meeting production targets. Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership and Health & Safety
- Lead and motivate a team to promote Health and Safety standards and cultivate a positive team attitude.
- Act as the primary point of contact for the Engineering department.
Collaboration and Reporting
- Report directly to the Engineering Manager, collaborating cross-functionally on-site.
- Work closely with the Engineering Manager to schedule preventive maintenance and enhance manufacturing infrastructure efficiency.
Team Development
- Develop and train engineering teams across shifts.
- Implement lean and continuous improvement techniques to achieve cost savings and improve work processes.
Compliance and Standards
- Ensure all standards and procedures are in place and regularly updated to govern safe working practices, including good GMP practices.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven track record of leading a diverse Engineering team within FMCG.
- Proven record in managing an engineering budget to comply with set financial constraints.
- Experience with CCMS systems.
- IOSH certified, NEBOSH preferable.
- Strong communication skills across all levels of staff.
- Experience contributing to a multifunctional management team.
- Experience in report writing, including RCA reports.
- Qualified to a high level in Electrical or Mechanical engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years experience working at a management level.
