Location: Manchester / Oldham area
Salary: £30,000 per annum basic, £42,000 - £47,000 per annum OTE
Overview: First Military Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Machinery Mover on behalf of our clients based in the Manchester area. This is an excellent and exciting opportunity to join a well recognised and growing machinery and equipment moving company.
The role of the Machinery Mover will be installing, removing and moving a wide range of machinery and plant equipment in a number of projects across the UK and Europe.
This role would suit ex-military candidates and applications from former service personnel are encouraged.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Installing, removing and moving machinery and plant equipment.
- Customer facing, travelling to and from customer sites.
- Working away.
- Site safety.
Skills and Qualifications:
- CPCS Industrial Forklift Licence.
- Experience of moving machinery and equipment.
- Working at Heights and/or Manual Handling Qualification.
- Qualified Slinger Signaller and/or Lift Supervisor (desirable)
- Flexible.
- Willing to work away from home, potentially weeks at a time.
