Futures recruitment are looking to appoint a Junior Quality Engineer for our client based in Leeds. The successful candidate will have a good working knowledge of both high-volume batch production and bespoke short-term runs would be ideal although one of the two would be adequate. Production line experience in a traditional engineering environment would be advantageous.
Junior Quality Engineer Responsibilities:
 - ISO9001 understanding/experience
 - Customer facing experience for site visits and audits
- Enthusiastic hands-on approach
 - Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills
 - Point of contact on site for planning and improvements: kaizen, 5S, continuous improvement Â
Junior Quality Engineer Skills and Experience
 - Minimum two years’ experience with ISO9001
 - Knowledge of ISO14001, ISO18001, TS16949 or AS9100 would be beneficial
 - Experience working for a production line manufacturer in plastics, automotive, chemicals, glass, machining, electronics, etc
 - Demonstrable proof of working with shop floor operatives to improve manufacturing
