An outstanding primary school in Woodstock is seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant for their Key Stage 1 (KS1) class this term. Rated 'Outstanding' by Ofsted, this two-form entry school is looking for a graduate to join their team on a long-term basis immediately. Candidates with prior experience working with children, particularly in a school environment, are preferred. The school serves many West Oxfordshire Primary Students with SEND/SEN/SENCO needs, including challenging behaviours, difficult home situations, ASD, and ADHD.

Salary: £83 - £90 per day (experience lead)

Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) requirements:

- Mandatory enhanced child DBS- Experience with KS1 or children aged 5 - 11 years, or young people with additional care needs (SEN)- Ability to manage challenging behaviours of the Woodstock Primary pupils.- A calm and caring disposition- Strong, resilient personality with a commitment to student development- Proficiency in reading, writing, numeracy, and communication- Team Teach training is desirable.

Schedule for the Woodstock role:

  • Full time 08:30am - 3:30pm
  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends

Experience:

  • SEN/SEMH: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
  • HTLA qualification OR over 10 years experience working as a TA/LSA role in Woodstock auhority or anywhere in the UK.
