The Role:

As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in developing and refining innovative design solutions. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Design Development: Create and optimize designs from concept to completion, leveraging advanced techniques like Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
  • Precision Engineering: Produce detailed manufacturing drawings, assembly instructions, and final design specifications.
  • Manufacturing Oversight: Ensure manufacturing processes align with optimal design outcomes for seamless product realization.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate product definitions and oversee the component database.
  • Quality Assurance: Approve engineering changes, manage concessions for nonconforming products, and investigate in-service product issues.
  • Problem Solving: Address safety incidents, conduct risk analyses, and compile failure reports to drive continuous improvement.

What You'll Need:

  • Educational Background: A degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience (minimum of 3 years) in rotating or heavy engineering roducts.
  • CAD Expertise: Proficiency in 2D and 3D design software. Experience with AutoCAD and Inventor is beneficial but not essential.
  • Problem-Solving Mindset: A proactive approach to tackling challenges and delivering innovative solutions.
