Installation and Maintenance business specialising in domestic heating, gas, electrics and solar installations. Working across London, we are currently celebrating our 20th year. This is an exciting role to work closely with the MD. (Please note this role is office based not remote working.)

Job Purpose:

To provide senior management and leadership support of the business in conjunction with the managing director. This is a wide ranging generalist role within an established SME in the heating and property services sector. The role holder will assist the managing director with the operational management of the company and in the growth ambitions of the business, taking ownership of various functions essential to the smooth running of the business. With both back office support functions and day to day operations within scope, the role holder will be an experienced, hands-on leader with a strong desire to succeed both on their own initiative and as part of a small dedicated team.

Primary function Areas:

This position is a permanent full time role and is office based. Working hours are 5 days per week between the hours of 8am and 6pm.

The key areas of responsibility of this role are office management, operational support, first line leadership and general business management including all areas of administration, marketing and business development, MI reporting, management of company accreditations and registrations, liaison with internal and external stakeholders and deputising for the managing director in their absence. Working closely with the customer service manager and with both the back office and field teams, the role is subject to deadlines and ultimately delivering excellent customer outcomes whilst assisting the managing director to grow the business.

Additional Duties:

As with all roles in the business, the postholder is required to work across the business as needed and be prepared to cover shortages and peak demand in all areas of operations.
