As an Audit Director, you will be responsible for:

• Leading the audit function, ensuring the highest levels of quality and compliance
• Managing a diverse portfolio of audit clients, including SMEs, owner-managed businesses, and corporate entities
• Acting as an RI (Responsible Individual), signing off audit reports and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
• Developing and implementing audit strategies, improving processes, and driving efficiency
• Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of auditors, supporting their career progression
• Building strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor, and providing valuable insights
• Working closely with Partners to develop business opportunities and expand the firm’s audit offering
• Staying up to date with audit regulations and technical developments, ensuring best practices are followed

• RI (Responsible Individual) status
• ACA or ACCA qualification, with significant experience in audit leadership
• Strong technical knowledge of UK auditing and accounting standards
• A proven track record of managing audits for a broad client base
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop staff
• Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to drive business development and client growth
• Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills, both internally and externally
