Description
The Finance Officer's duties include but are not limited to:
- Managing the accounts payable and receivable.
- Assisting in the preparation of budgets, financial statements, and reports.
- Reconciliation of financial records and accounts.
- Responsible for filing of VAT returns and working closely with the rest of the team to ensure accurate VAT reporting including partial exemption calculations.
- Liaising with staff, vendors, and external auditors.
- Contributing to the efficient operation of the Finance Department.
Profile
A successful Finance Officer should have:
- Demonstrated experience working in a finance related role
- Proficiency in financial management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working in a charity / not for profit Finance environment
