We are seeking a Financial Accountant to join our esteemed client's Financial Accounting team. This role is crucial for supporting the Financial Controller in preparing management accounts, handling IFRS 16 lease accounting, and managing intercompany loans and balances.
- Prepare UK management accounts and analyse variances.
- Prepare budget and forecast information for UK costs and IFRS 16 lease accounting.
- Conduct month-end reporting, including enrichment and continuity schedules.
- Prepare journals and reconcile IFRS16 lease accounting entries.
- Support the preparation of annual corporation tax packs for 18 statutory companies.
- Prepare analysis and reports for Tax, Treasury, and Sector Finance departments.
- Qualified in a recognised professional accountancy qualification.
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including use and set-up of Pivot tables and formulas.
- Experience with an accounting software package, ideally Oracle.
