The Opportunity

We are excited to offer an opportunity as an Accounting Lead supporting the European region.. In this role, you will manage key financial processes and ensure compliance with global accounting standards.

Job Summary

  • Lead financial accounting and reporting processes, focusing on timely and accurate monthly consolidation of Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss statements.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and group financial requirements, including audits, tax returns, and relevant filings (CIT, VAT, etc.).
  • Manage monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, addressing discrepancies with the team promptly.
  • Implement cash flow forecasting and reporting for the business.
  • Maintain control over the fixed asset register and ensure compliance with IFRS and leasing regulations.
  • Coordinate Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Account to Report activities, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Assist in preparing annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Collaborate with local teams, including HR and Customer Service and operations to provide financial insights and support.

Personal Profile

You are a detail-focused finance professional with strong experience in financial processes and reporting, particularly in a multinational environment. You are excited about working in an international SSC and have the skills to support both local and regional finance teams.

Furthermore, you recognize yourself in the following profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in a multinational financial reporting environment.
  • Relevant professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CMA, CIMA) is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); SAP experience is advantageous.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • Knowledge of international accounting standards.
  • Strong understanding of UK GAAP
  • Tax laws, and regulatory requirements for UK .
  • Strong background with financial ERP (especially SAP) would be considered a plus.
  • BPC & BI reporting experience preferred.
