Our client is a well-respected and leading business operating within the Financial Services sector with their UK head office situated in Bromsgrove (with Hybrid Working Offered) and therefore easily commutable from across the West Midlands area

As part of the companies continued expansion, FRS have been enlisted to assist with the recruitment of a dynamic Finalist or Newly Qualified Accountant to Join the business as Management Accountant.

This position will work closely supporting the Group Financial Controller in the below duties.

  • Preparation and presentation of management accounts with supporting commentary and analysis
  • Ownership of Balance Sheet accounts and reconciliations
  • Supporting the preparation of financial statements and regulatory returns
  • Preparing financial analysis to support management decision making
  • Collaborative cross-departmental working to inform the accuracy of accounting entries and provide business partnering
  • Supporting ongoing development of internal systems and processes to become best in class
  • Supporting annual audit process
  • Providing reporting as required to support annual budgets and reforecasts
  • Ad hoc analysis and business partnering as required

This position promises to be varied and progressive, the ideal candidate will

  • Working towards ACA / ACCA / CIMA if not already qualified
  • Strong Analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail
  • Confident and outgoing personality as business partnering with key stakeholders and C Suite Exposure is offered in this position.
  • Effective organisational and planning skills
  • Strong IT and MS Office skills
  • Delivery focused, with a drive for quality throughout
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
