£56,000 | 6-month Fixed Term Contract

We are looking for a qualified accountant to join the office of a Secure Government customer in the Midlands!

This is a part-time role working up to 30 hours a week with a hybrid working policy of up to 2 days working from other locations including home in line with business requirements.

This role requires you to lead a small team and is ideal for someone who has a passion for management accounting and delivering large capital projects. It is an exciting opportunity to be at the centre of decision-making and ensure that public sector resources are being utilised efficiently whilst delivering a quality service.

We are looking for an experienced professional to provide proactive and effective support and advice around financial management, planning and value for money.

The role will also involve supporting and enabling the Treasurer to fulfil their statutory duties and responsibilities and deputise for the Treasurer in their absence.
