Lead Clinical Pharmacist

This is a superb permanent opportunity with a very forward-thinking and highly respected PCN, looking to add a Lead Clinical Pharmacist to their close-knit team. The PCN is looking for a Clinical Pharmacist with experience in Primary Care, a Prescriber and someone with the CPPE Pathway. As Lead Clinical Pharmacist you will manage the Pharmacist team including Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians. With a clinical and managerial aspect to the role it is very varied and you will also liaise with the ICB as a lead for the PCN. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Lead Clinical Pharmacist or an experienced Clinical Pharmacist looking to take the next step up into a Lead role.

Salary –  £58,000 - £62,000 per annum FTE DOE + NHS pension + 25 days Annual Leave + Bank Holidays + Study Leave + Indemnity

Your role –

• Lead Clinical Pharmacist for the PCN
• Be a prescriber and have completed the CPPE Pathway!
• Get involved clinically – Handle SMRs, Polypharmacy, meds management, discharge letters, etc.
• Managerial responsibility, supervisions, observations, 121s
• Based at one practice but move across the others in the PCN as and when needed
