Sonic Summary
- My client, an Engineering company based in Worcester, is seeking to hire an Inspection Engineer on either a Temp-to-Perm or permanent basis.
- The role requires collaboration with Engineering and Technical Teams to define inspection methods, ensure quality, and drive continuous improvement.
- Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience and possess a CIS or AUKOM II qualification, along with familiarity with PC-DMIS and Zeiss Metrology Suite.
- The salary for this position will be determined based on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in IT applications, including MS Office and ERP systems, are essential for success in this role.
You will work collaboratively with the Engineering and Technical Teams to define Inspection Methods, ensure quality and drive continuous improvement.
The main requirements of the role include
- Collaborate with colleagues on new product development and process improvements
- Identify and resolve any manufacturing issues including documenting any issues
- Convert defined customer and Metrology Engineer inspection requirements into production ready inspection programs
- Work collaboratively with operational inspection team to provide solutions for daily inspection challenges
- Document Technical instructions to ensure accurate process flow-down
As a suitable candidate you will offer the following
- AUKOM II or CIS Qualification
- Experience of PC-DMIS and Zeiss Metrology Suite
- Proven experience of Data Recording
- Strong communication skills with an ability manage technical issues as they arise
- Strong IT skills incl MS Office and ERP systems
- ideally have experience of SLS or SMKS 3d printing technology
The salary for this role will be determined by the relevant candidates suitable experience
