Business Analyst – Home Based- Charity Sector – 2 month contract

A highly regarded and values driven charity are looking for a Business Analyst to join them on a 2 month contract to work on a range of existing and planned projects across the organisation that will ultimately achieve the business systems architecture outlined in their IT strategy.  The focus of this Business Analyst role will be to analyse and document the existing business processes from both an operational and IT perspective and assist with the mapping, simplification and redevelopment of business processes to deliver operational outcomes.  The charity is going through a digital transformation  and a number of system requirements have been identified – as the BA you will need to work at pace to gather these from a group of stakeholders, identify where manual systems may initially provide adequate solutions, existing systems can be utilised or adapted and where new systems are required.

Please note – this role is home based and fully remote.  It will run for 2 months initially but may be extended.

Key responsibilities of this Business Analyst include:

Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and develop and implement solutions.

Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.

Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.

Performing requirements analysis.

Effectively communicating insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.

Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.

Participate in the solution design process.

Analyse and decompose relevant business processes.

Analyse and document business requirements to support future state operating models.

Understand and document current operating models including the creation of process maps, user guides, etc.

Use data modelling techniques to analyse findings and create recommendations for performance improvements, including benefits maps.

Identify and recommend changes to Business Processes, selling benefits to senior management and stakeholders, including benefits realisation plans.

As the Business Analyst you will posses excellent written and verbal communication skills with an innate ability to elicit and document current business processes, organise, facilitate and document workshops and work across business improvement.

The hourly rate on offer for this role is £23 p/h.
