Multi Skilled Carpenter required to work with leading Housing Association maintenance division covering Worcester on a temp contract.
My client requires an experienced, professional and hard-working multi trade carpenter to carry out 2nd fix carpentry repairs on domestic social housing properties across the Worcester & surrounding region.
Work will include reactive & planned carpentry repairs on tenanted & void empty properties.
Start date: As soon as candidates are available
Hours: 8.00am - 16.30pm Mon - Fri 40 hours per week
Location: Worcester
Duration: 3-4 month temp contract
Pay rate: 20 per hour plus 0.45p per mile
Requirements:
Minimum NVQ L2 or City & Guilds in Carpentry (Timeserved experience can be accepted)
Experience of working as a carpenter in the building trade either as a carpenter or as a multi-skilled carpenter
You must be used to carrying out reactive repairs and carpentry repairs in a social housing setting.
Experience of working for a Social Housing, housing association or council
Associated trade skills of basic plumbing, plaster patching and wall tiling would also be desirable
Full driving License and own transport ideally Van or Estate Car.
As you will be working within Customer's homes this role requires a DBS check.
