Manufacturing Technician-

Are you looking for an entry level engineering position where you can utilise your exisiting engineering skills and learn with on the job training?

Here at Hewett Recruitment we are working with a local to Worcester engineering company who specialise in a niche medical market. They are seeking someone who is looking for a new opportunity as a Manufacturing Technician in an engineering production environment.

The role will involve providing production support under the guidance of the Manufacturing Manager. You will learn quickly how to use provided manufacturing equipment, show competency, a good understanding of quality requirements including the use of metrology equipment as well as maintaining a clean working environment.

Job Responsibilities (not limited to)-

  • Help with ensuring process and production targets are met, optimise output & minimise defects.
  • Ability to quickly learn methods and processes as directed.
  • Help with Fault Finding and Process Improvements.
  • Undertake Total Preventative Maintenance
  • Help maintain process conditions
  • In-line quality checks are achieved and maintained.
  • Facility Cleanliness and upkeep awareness
  • Work in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Required Job Related Skills (not limited to)-

  • Ability to problem solve
  • Ability to learn quickly and apply new skills in a methodical manner
  • Ability to work with staff at differing levels of the organisation
  • Show competence in all work carried out to training as directed
  • Strong communication skills
