Then get in touch! Kingston Barnes is recruiting for an Area Sales Manager for our client in the Worcester area. Our client is a market leading manufacturer and they are looking for an experienced sales person to develop new opportunities and bolster existing customer relationships.

The Role:

  • Support existing customers and develop new sales opportunities for high-pressure industrial solutions, water jetting products, and accessories.
  • Focus on winning profitable orders and growing market share in sectors like petrochemical, nuclear, construction, and energy transition.
  • Manage and maintain regular contact with a large customer base, promoting new product offerings to maximise sales.
  • Research potential customers, introduce them to the product range, and explore new sales opportunities.
  • Organize and conduct product trials and demonstrations (training provided).
  • Assist internal sales with preparing quotes and equipment costings when needed.
  • Liaise with customers during and after order processing.
  • Keep customer and sales records up-to-date using CRM software.
  • Report regularly on sales activities and future plans.
  • Support thesales team in preparing budgets, forecasts, and strategies.
  • Actively promote company sales and marketing efforts.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market opportunities, and share insights with the team.
  • Carry out any other reasonable tasks requested by senior management.

The Candidate:

  • Knowledge of high-pressure pumps or high-pressure jetting
  • Previous capital equipment sales experience
  • Commercially competent
  • Great negotiation skills
  • Full, clean driving licence
