Salary: up tp 45,000

Contract: Perm, full time, hybrid 3 days per week in office
The Role
We are recruiting for an experienced SEO Manager to drive the SEO strategy for a leading UK retailer with a strong focus on digital and marketing excellence. This is a dynamic role for someone with a blend of technical SEO expertise and the ability to communicate effectively across teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement an effective SEO strategy covering technical SEO, content marketing, keyword targeting, and outreach initiatives
- Manage and oversee SEO processes in collaboration with an external agency
- Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Digital, and Trading teams, as well as digital agencies, to align SEO objectives
- Lead the SEO agency team, ensuring projects are timely and meet performance goals
- Provide clear updates to the business on SEO performance and strategic advancements
- Govern SEO practices across multiple teams to ensure consistent standards
- Prepare and present monthly SEO performance reports for senior management
- Monitor and refine SEO activities to maintain a competitive edge in the market
Candidate Criteria
- Proven expertise in SEO, with a record of delivering measurable results
- Strong knowledge of current SEO trends and best practices
- Active engagement in the SEO community to stay updated on industry advancements
- Ability to innovate and refine SEO strategies, ensuring they are cutting-edge
- Proficient in technical SEO and analytics (GA4 experience preferred)
- Skilled in link building and content marketing strategies
- Analytical mindset with a passion for SEO and digital marketing
- Excellent communication skills, able to convey technical information clearly
