Your new companyYou will be joining a Tier 1 contractor working on water projects in the Worcestershire area. This high-profile organisation has a strong pipeline of work in the water sector and offers great opportunities to advance your career. They are now looking to onboard a Project Engineer to join their highly successful team.Your new roleAs Project Engineer, you will be based primarily in the Worcestershire area and be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Ensuring project costs do not exceed tender/varied allowance
  • Liaising with subcontractors, site management and suppliers
  • Maintaining good client relationships at all levels
  • Monitoring subcontract performance
  • Ensuring all applications for payment are made on/before the due date
  • Assisting in the production of contract programmes, monitoring programmes as well as producing progress reports.

What you'll need to succeedIn order to be successful, you will have:

  • Basic engineering background (electrical and/or mechanical)
  • Working knowledge of NEC contracts
  • Knowledge of water treatment processes
  • CDM and health & safety knowledge.
