About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Digital Journey Optimisation Consultant to join them on a 6-month fixed-term contract to drive their online conversion rate strategy. This key role involves identifying and implementing optimisation opportunities across digital customer journeys, focusing on enhancing satisfaction, conversion rates, and average basket values. Working closely with Digital, Customer, and Trading teams, you'll take a data-driven approach to shape and refine the digital customer experience, ensuring that every journey reflects the high standards of the brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution of the Optimisation strategy, driving KPIs and key performance metrics.
  • Identify and implement initiatives to increase customer satisfaction, conversion rates, and service attachment.
  • Provide insights to prioritise areas of opportunity and remove obstacles to progress.
  • Ensure business decisions are informed by robust data analysis to maximise customer impact.
  • Build strong partnerships with eCommerce, CX, and UX teams to align priorities and share insights.
  • Work closely with Merchandising and Optimisation teams to test and refine key customer journeys.

Key Skills and Experience

  • Proven background in data analysis and KPI-driven optimisation in a digital environment.
  • Familiarity with behavioural analytics tools (e.g., heatmapping, journey mapping, session recordings).
  • Proficiency with Google Suite analytics tools (GA4, Data Studio, BigQuery).
  • Expertise in eCommerce conversion tactics, including A/B testing, customer segmentation, and abandonment analysis.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
