Your new companyYou will be joining a construction company in Worcester for a temporary role working in their commercial function as a Customer Service Administrator. Requiring an immediate start, this role will be required for 2-3 months with a possible extension.

Your new roleThis is a full-time temporary job, working in their Worcester office Monday to Friday. Your main responsibility will be to support the management team in booking customer appointments, handling customers and contractors and supporting them with administrative duties. Key tasks include:

  • Dealing with calls from regions and requesting information from them and chasing for responses
  • Handling customer and contractor queries
  • Take Customer Complaint calls in relation to production that come in to the office and update
  • Booking in appointments for customers
  • Following up with contractors to obtain job updates
  • Electronic and paper filing of correspondence, general papers and emails
  • Maintaining information on the databases, systems and registers, which may include Streamline / Options Database / JDE / CRM system
  • General office administration.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience in an office customer service position
  • Construction industry experience is ideal
  • Skills in administration
  • Excellent telephone manner and communication skills
  • IT proficiency
  • Helpful, proactive and flexible nature
  • The ability to work in a busy environment with short turnaround deadlines.
