Customer Service Representative

Location: Blackpole, Worcestershire

Salary: £12.00 - £13.50 per hour

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Hours: Monday - Friday (occasional Saturdays may be required)

The Role

We are looking for proactive and customer-focused individual to join our Customer Service Team. As a key part of our operations, you will handle inbound and outbound customer interactions, ensuring a seamless experience from booking to service completion. You will work closely with our transport, sales, and operational teams to support our customers solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Interaction: Handle inbound and outbound customer enquiries via phone, email, and online platforms.
  • Order Management: Process bookings.
  • Issue Resolution: Address customer concerns, complaints, and service requests promptly and professionally.
  • Sales Support: Assist customers in selecting the right solutions, upselling where appropriate.
  • Scheduling & Coordination: Work closely with the transport team to schedule collections and deliveries efficiently.
  • Account Management: Support commercial clients by managing ongoing contracts and ensuring service satisfaction.
  • Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate customer records, update CRM systems, and handle payment processing.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure customers are informed about regulations and safety requirements.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in customer service.
  • Strong communication skills - confident, professional, and able to handle customer interactions effectively.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.).
  • Problem-solving mindset with a proactive and customer-first approach.
  • Team player who can work collaboratively with sales, transport, and operations teams.
