Job Title:Transport Supervisor
Location:Worcester
Hourly rate:13.39
Working Hours :(Apply online only) on a 5/7 rota (Working every other Saturday)
Job Type :Temporary to Permanent
What does the Transport Supervisor role involve?
- Leading and motivating your team of skilled service delivery teams
- Coaching, and developing those that need further support.
- Efficient fleet utilisation, resource planning and cost control.
- Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency within the Transport team, recommending and implementing changes where needed.
- The resourcing, development, and leadership of all colleagues within your team, and ensuring service delivery teams are fully trained in all areas.
- Making prompt decisions which protect customer service and our delivery schedule, as well as remaining commercially focused.
- Managing on-site resources (colleagues, vehicles and equipment) to ensure you have everything required, in the right place at the right time, to meet customers needs.
Minimum experience, training or qualifications required for the Transport Supervisor role:Candidates must have experience within transport, ideally within a similar position, but this isn't essential.
