It’s re-vamped role within an existing marketing team working for a global player in the home furnishings sector and will manage a small team.
The role:
Reporting into the Director of Global Services, the Digital Manager will be accountable for the global website platform , related online tools and managing the agency partnerships. You will be someone who doesn’t just want to run the analytics, you want to really understand them and utilise them to offer insight and recommendations for change. You’ll relish working with the wider marketing team and brand managers to suggest commercially and digitally viable idea and you’ll love a conversation about everything digital and how it can benefit the marketing of this brilliant brand.
Responsibilities will include managing global and regional initiatives related to digital improvements, running a clear project plan and having accountability for keeping track in terms of time and budget. You’ll manage a team of 4, overseeing both their daily work and their personal development. You’ll build relationships with the senior stakeholders and regional digital teams to share insight, as well as managing relationships with third party suppliers. One of your first duties will be to develop a roadmap for website development across a 5-year period.
You’ll utilise GA4 data and provide insightful reporting on online performance and you’ll be continually researching and reviewing new software and tools to enhance the customer experience and engagement. You’ll work with Group stakeholders to develop central digital strategy, and you’ll collaborate with Group team managers to ensure joined-up thinking and activity across online and offline marketing.
What we’re looking for:
We need a really experienced people manager with extensive digital marketing experience in both technical and strategic website development and management, SEO, GTM and analytics. Some PPC knowledge is desirable but not essential. You’ll be familiar with working an enterprise CMS system - our client currently uses Optimizely, but we’re not expecting previous experience in this, but you will need demonstrable experience of CMS editing and administration. You will have demonstrable line management and agency management skills and will be highly organised with a collaborative approach. Moreover, you’ll love digital development and will have a desire to try out new technologies.
This isn’t a role which will work in silo or a role where you will sit behind a computer and analyse. You’ll be very commercially focussed and be keen to engage in conversation with all levels of stakeholder.
