My client, a packing company based in Worcestershire is looking to recruit a Flexible Packaging Print Operator on a Temp to Perm or Permanent basis, depending on availability.The main responsibilities associated with the role include- Setting up and printing high quality designs up to 8 colours onto Flexible plastic substrates and paper- Maintain a high level of quality, accuracy and productivity to ensure efficient day to day running of wide web flexographic printing press- Ensure press speeds are optimized, maximizing uptime and minimizing downtime, continually checking on safe and efficient operation- Report issues to the Quality department that may affect output throughout the shift- Maintain good housekeeping on the press and surrounding areas – 5S auditing- Maintain stock levels of all necessary materials to fulfil the shift efficientlyAs a suitable candidate you will offer the following - Previous experience of flexographic print- Knowledge of Lamination and Slitting process- Experience of mounting process- Manage and deal with change in a fast moving and demanding environment whilst still maintaining standards set within the business- Ability to work as a team as well as on own initiative and contribute to the continuous improvement activityThe role is based on 48 hours work per week (there may be additional hours depending upon business requirements), with a proposed salary of up to £40,000.00Keywords:Print, Flexographic, Lamination, Slitting, Mounting
