We're working on behalf of a fantastic special school based between Cheltenham & Worcester that are looking for an ASD Teaching Assistant to join the team for as soon as possible! The school look after students with a range of different special needs but all students have some form of ASD.

The school provide a therapeutic educational approach with fantastic facilities put in place to allow the students to fully flourish. They're very proud of the work they do at the school and have a very tight knit team of staff to back this up!

The role

The role of Teaching Assistant involves a wide range of responsibilities; providing general classroom support, 1-1 support, supporting outside of the classroom and supporting the class teacher. This particular vacancy will be very much an 'all rounder’ position where you will provide support across the school wherever there are gaps! So it's an exciting opportunity to gain a ranging experience in the school.

They require people who have experience working with SEN, ideally within a school setting. Being proactive, confident, positive, patient and adaptable are all important traits to be successful in this role.
