Ecologist - Worcester

A leading multi-disciplinary consultancy is looking for an experienced Ecologist to join their team. This role offers a mix of fieldwork and office-based tasks, working on diverse projects across England and Wales.



The Role as an Ecologist:

  • Conduct surveys for bats, reptiles, great crested newts, badgers, and birds.
  • Produce reports, including Preliminary Ecological Appraisals and Biodiversity Net Gain assessments.
  • Assist with survey planning, data analysis, and mitigation strategies.
  • Contribute to EPS mitigation licences.

Based near Worcester, with flexible working options available.

Ecologist Requirements:

  • Degree in a relevant subject + 2+ years' consultancy experience.
  • Strong skills in PEAs, BNG assessments, and botany.
  • Experience with bat surveys (NE bat licence desirable).
  • CIEEM Qualifying/Associate membership.
  • Full driving licence & own vehicle.
