This is a fantastic opportunity to collaborate with Senior Engineers and contribute to delivering high-quality solutions for clients' complex needs. The role will allow you to play a key part in enhancing the company’s reputation as a leading supplier in the industry.Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to engineering efforts on turnkey projects, ensuring adherence to schedules and budget management.
  • Build BOMs (Bill of Materials) and release Work Orders using ERP software based on CAD/ePlan drawings.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with internal teams and clients to ensure project success.
  • Adhere to internal quality and reporting procedures to maintain high standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including Project Managers, Shop Floor, and Purchasing, to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Develop design concepts and electrical schematics based on customer RFQs (Requests for Quotation), guided by Senior Engineers and Management.
  • Assist in completing Technical Files (CE Marking) and Manuals as required.
  • Support Senior Engineers & Managers to deliver projects on time, maintaining focus on meeting deadlines.
Requirements and Skills:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Engine Test Cell Engineering or R&D facilities.
  • Proficiency in ePlan or AutoCAD CAD Software.
  • Degree qualification or equivalent experience in an electrical technical discipline.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate data and solve engineering problems.
  • Basic understanding of test cell systems, motors, drives, PLC systems, and power distribution.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to manage workloads and priorities effectively.
  • Familiarity with value engineering principles.
  • Ability to travel to client sites in the UK or abroad (Supervised).
  • Basic knowledge of BS 13849, 7671, and 60204 standards.
  • Solid understanding of electrical engineering principles.
