Asbestos Analyst - Worcester, West Midlands

£33,000 - £37,000 includes a Full Benefits Package

The job will mostly involve commercial work; banks, hospitals, and school with a small 20% of it being domestic sites. They ask you travel with an hour of your own time before you are paid but on weekends when there is overtime available it is door to door.

Successful Asbestos Analyst will possess:

  • BOHS P403 + P404/RSPH3 certification with a minimum of 12 months field experience
  • A full UK driving license is desirable but not essential
  • Good working knowledge of Health & Safety procedures and HSG248 'The analyst guide' in relation to asbestos
  • Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
  • Ability to work under their own initiative and as part of a team

Key Duties being an Asbestos Analyst:

  • Having strong verbal communication skills to use to build and maintain working relationships with the company's list of clients.
  • Work alongside all internal staff to create a network of resourceful minds.
  • Confidently carry out all 4 stages from a clearance, background, smoke, visual, re-occupation, personal air testing and leak reassurance.
  • Put together accurate asbestos reports from collated data.
