About the Business

An opportunity to be a Finance Director for an international business in the manufacturing industry, working with established and exciting clients. Based in Worcester, near junction 6, this company offers strong growth potential and a supportive, employee-focused culture. The role involves leading a small but capable team of around 10.

Main Duties:

As a Finance Director, your main duties include:

  • Be the lead finance point on site, for the whole plant
  • Oversight of the preparation of accurate and timely Management and Statutory Accounts, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
  • Maintain strong financial controls, manage stock counts, and oversee fixed assets.
  • Lead a team to create dashboards
  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial forecasts and budgets.
  • Provide insights on performance trends through analysis and work with business partners.
  • Develop standard costs, prepare management accounts, and support key projects with business modelling.
  • Work closely with the Managing Director to deliver performance insights, challenge strategies, and support key initiatives.

The role is hybrid in the offices based in Worcester. The company operate from a modern office consisting of a small but strong team.
