About the Business
An opportunity to be a Finance Director for an international business in the manufacturing industry, working with established and exciting clients. Based in Worcester, near junction 6, this company offers strong growth potential and a supportive, employee-focused culture. The role involves leading a small but capable team of around 10.
Main Duties:
As aFinance Director, your main duties include:
- Be the lead finance point on site, for the whole plant
- Oversight of the preparation of accurate and timely Management and Statutory Accounts, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
- Maintain strong financial controls, manage stock counts, and oversee fixed assets.
- Lead a team to create dashboards
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial forecasts and budgets.
- Provide insights on performance trends through analysis and work with business partners.
- Develop standard costs, prepare management accounts, and support key projects with business modelling.
- Work closely with the Managing Director to deliver performance insights, challenge strategies, and support key initiatives.
Location / Office / Culture
The role is hybrid in the offices based in Worcester. The company operate from a modern office consisting of a small but strong team.

What We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
- Manufacturing experience ideally, but open to strong candidates
- Well-versed in commercial finance
- A commercially driven mindset
