Head of Finance

Macildowie Finance are currently working with a c10m turnover business based in Worcester to recruit a Head of Finance. This business has an excellent reputation for customer service and product quality and are looking for an individual to grow and develop with the business over a significant period of time. You will be reporting in to the Managing Director, as the no1 person in Finance and will be exposed to all areas of this dynamic and exciting business, providing high quality, timely and accurate management reporting and information, driving profitability and supporting key decisions. Your responsibilities will include:Leadership, coaching and development of the Finance Team.Owning the month end management accounts production - ensuring they are provided to the business/directors in a timely and accurate manner.Leading on the production of all statutory returns, VAT etc. Business planning/scenario modelling assisting operations in their strategic decision making process.Cost centre management- producing cost analyses by department and challenging expenditure, highlighting opportunities to improve business performance through efficiency gains. Preparation and presentation of key performance statistics to senior level operational stakeholders.Owning the Financial planning cycle leadership of the budgeting and forecasting cycle. About You

To be considered for this role you must be ACCA/CIMA/ACA QualifiedAn experienced Excel User (Pivots, Look Ups, Ifs are a must)A confident communicator with experience of partnering with senior level operational stakeholdersPrevious people management experience is essential

You will have a proactive and inquisitive mind-set you will enjoy identifying, challenging and solving issues within the cost base. You will have a true all round SME pedigree - Management Accounts, Financial Accounts, FP&A, Statutory Reporting Previous experience of Business Central ERP would be advantageous.
