About the Business

An opportunity to be a Senior Finance Business Partner for a logistics company based in Worcester, that operates throughout the UK.

Main Duties:

As a Senior Finance Business Partner your main duties include:

  • Manage the preparation of business data and the delivery of guidance to key customers and stakeholders, enabling effective monitoring and supporting informed decision-making, strategic planning, and efficient financial management.
  • Establish and maintain accurate and comprehensive financial records, control systems, and policies to ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements, while managing supporting processes effectively.
  • Support the evaluation, enhancement, implementation, and oversight of systems to uphold a strong control environment that protects the organisation's interests.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with all key stakeholders, addressing and resolving issues and shortcomings to ensure the delivery of excellent customer service.
  • Oversee recruitment, performance management, and professional development of skilled staff, creating cohesive teams capable of meeting business demands and individual responsibilities.
  • Participate, as appropriate, in special initiatives and projects that align with the Group's values and objectives.

Location / Office / Culture

This is a hybrid role with 3 days in the offices based in Worcester and 2 days at home. This employer is a diverse and inclusive company.
