Our client, a leading Wealth Managemnet firm are looking for a Paraplanner to join the team on a permanent basis.

The Paraplanner will need to ensure that the preparation of reports and technical research is of the highest quality, delivered in an efficient and compliant manner whilst mitigating any risks to the business

Role Responsibilities:

  • Participate in and delivering comprehensive financial research, within set SLAs, on products and investments on an independent basis using company-approved research tools
  • Prepare and delivering bespoke investment reports, within set SLAs, to clients through the analysis of existing investment portfolios and comparison against suitable benchmarks
  • Prepare and interpreting complex plan information with a view to completing transfer analysis
  • Prepare complex financial planning reports, within set SLAs, in multiple financial planning areas
  • Research and review, where necessary, new and existing legislation and technical/product information to aid in the role that is performed.
  • Thorough research conducted where necessary and referring to Senior team members, where necessary
  • Participating in firm research projects, adhering to set deadlines, as and if required

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Diploma in Financial Planning
  • Demonstration of knowledge, interest and experience in personal financial planning and in the construction of financial planning research and suitability reports
  • Experience in an IFA environment, demonstrating quality communications of constructive feedback
  • A high standard of written and numerical skills
  • An ability to demonstrate strong report-writing skills
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Aptitude in Microsoft Office
