An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Paraplanner to join a growing, well-established B-Corp financial planning firm based in Worcester. The Opportunity:

This is a fantastic role for a detail-oriented and ambitious Paraplanner who thrives in a collaborative, office-based environment. Working as part of the technical team, you will play a crucial role in supporting Financial Planners, ensuring outstanding client outcomes while meeting regulatory and compliance obligations. Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Meeting Preparation - Compile comprehensive review packs within agreed SLAs.
  • Report Writing - Draft high-quality client reports and recommendation letters.
  • Technical Research - Conduct detailed investment, retirement, and protection product research using internal tools and PROD.
  • Cashflow Planning - Support advisers with financial forecasting and scenario analysis.
  • Regulatory Compliance - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of FCA regulations and ensure all recommendations align with best practices.
  • Client Record Management - Update and maintain records on Intelligent Office (IO) and SharePoint.
  • Administrative Support - Prepare advice packs, application forms, and liaise with providers to obtain necessary information.
About You:
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in paraplanning, technical report writing, or financial planning support.
  • Level 4 Diploma qualified (or working towards Chartered Status).
  • Strong knowledge of investments, pensions, protection products, and risk profiling.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • A proactive, organised, and methodical approach, capable of managing multiple tasks under pressure.
  • A growth mindset and strong work ethic, with a passion for learning and continuous development.
  • A commitment to ethical finance, sustainability, and community engagement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and financial planning software.
