Metalis are working with a leading manufacturer based in Worcester who due to expansion are looking for a Toolroom Technician to join the team with lots of opportunity to develop skills and on the job training provided.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Millings, Turning, Grinding, Bench Fitting duties
• Stripping / Assembling dies and trimtools
• Use of Overhead Crane / FLT
• Maintaining Die and Trim tool conditions
• Supporting other priorities within the toolroom e.g. machine breakdowns
• Working in a disciplined, methodical approach, complying with all Company Procedures
• Adhering to strict health and safety procedures

The ideal candidate will have:

• Must come from a manufacturing/engineering background
• Previous experience working within a toolroom environment (ideal but not essential)
• Use of Overhead Crane / FLT (Ideally - training can be given)
• Previous experience Turning, Milling, Grinding or Bench Fitting
• A "can do" attitude

Shifts & Salary:

• 28,000 - 30,000 (dependent on experience)
• Days & Afternoons
• 37.5 hours per week Monday Friday (6am - 2pm) (2pm - 10pm)
• 16% shift allowance for Afternoon shift
• Permanent
