Our client, a leading manufacturer specialising in high-precision components, is seeking an experienced Polisher to join their dedicated team. The company works across a variety of industries, including automotive and aerospace, and prides itself on producing top-quality finishes for their clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for polishing metal surfaces to a high standard, focusing on both mirror and brushed finishes. This position requires someone with experience in dressing welds and working with parts for the aerospace or automotive industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Polishing metal components to mirror or brushed finishes according to client specifications.
- Dressing welds to ensure smooth and seamless finishes.
- Working on high-precision parts for the aerospace and automotive industries.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and finishing specifications.
- Maintaining a clean and organised workstation while adhering to safety and quality standards.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in polishing, with a background in either the automotive or aerospace sectors.
- Expertise in both mirror and brushed finishes.
- Experience in dressing welds to a high standard.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work.
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and drawings.
